Nobody was injured when this car went off the road on the Plum Island Turnpike, in front of Plumbush Downs, and snapped this utility line causing some flames in the nearby marsh grass. Traffic was closed both ways initially with one lane open later as crews replaced the pole and did repairs. Electricity was out for several hours.
