Area school children also filled out cards that will go to about 3,000 veterans in the seven VA hospitals in Massachusetts and nursing homes and those in their own homes. Special thanks went to the Sgt. Jordan M. Shay Memorial Foundation, Loral Press, Inc. and the volunteers who made the event successful.
