A preliminary Rowley Police investigation indicates that a 40-year-old woman from Haverhill was traveling west in this white SUV on Haverhill Street (Route 133) when she crossed the double yellow line and struck the tractor trailer, at right, that was heading east. Rowley firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to extricate the woman from her vehicle then was transported to an area hospital with injuries that are believed to be serious. Her infant, who was in the car at the time of the crash, was also transported to an area hospital with with lesser injuries.
