Newburyport High School students dissected the boli from albatross collected in the middle of the Pacific Ocean last week. The issue with these birds is that they are eating in one of the great garbage patches found in the centers of all the world's oceans. Much trash ends up in one of these garbage patches. The plastic is accidentally eaten by marine organisms and it is killing off many species, especially the albatross. Picking out squid beaks, which they expect to find are, from left, Sean Clark, Cameron Roy and John O'Neil. Bryan Eaton/Staff Photo
