Amesbury: Chip Hersey of South Portland Me, formerly of Newburyport releases the catch on his Pumkin Chucking Catapult at the Flying Pumpking Feastival at Lake Gardner in Amesbury Sunday afternoon. Hersey along with Perry Stone demostrated the power of the machine which is capable of tossing a pumpking over 1000 ft.
