Salisbury:
Breanna Mitchell, 11, of Methuen was playing chicken with the waves at Salisbury Beach on Thursday afternoon and lost. The youngster had a half day at school and headed to the beach with some friends hoping to go to the arcades, which were closed, so headed to the ocean.
