Newburyport:
Spring begins differently for some people, either St. Patrick's Day, March 21 or when the boat docks return to the Merrimack River. But for some, it's when Shirley' Hot Dog Stand opens on Inn Street as it did this week, with Cate Weis, 5, of Newburyport walking away with her first dog of the season.
