Amesbury:
Alexa Schlicher, 9, pokes holes in the garden at the Amesbury Elementary School sign as she and her classmates plant tulip bulbs on Thursday afternoon. The students, in Nancy Sullivan's fourth grade class, were planting the bulbs to beautify the school and also as a part of their "journey north" participation in the observation of the season's change.
